Quality control for stainless steel should begin with the applicable material specification and continue through production, testing, inspection, documentation and final delivery.
JISCO JUDE reviews customer requirements according to the requested grade, product form, dimensions, applicable ASTM, EN, JIS or customer specification, and any project-specific inspection requirements.
Depending on the material and purchase specification, quality review may include chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensional tolerances, surface condition, material identification, traceability and supporting inspection documentation.
We have organized the revision of 4 procedure documents and management methods on quality, and completed the revision of 83 technical procedures of production lines to further meet the needs of production and quality management of the company.
We have worked to refine the evaluation criteria and organize evaluation of quarterly quality control capability to further enhance the quality awareness, quality execution and quality level of all staff.
We have organized “Month for Pursuing Quality” activities, released 273 quality team results, 664 rationalized suggestions, and settled down 299 outstanding quality problems.
We have implemented the evaluation standard of product quality improvement plan, desingnated each unit to be responsible for the management with implementation on a monthly basis and rolling evaluation, so as to promote the physical quality of the company’s products and management capacity.
We have strengthened the quality certification and excellence management so that won many quality awards. We have completed more than 50 items
of product certificated, including automotive steel, ultra-high strength offshore steel, Germany HPQ, Japan JIS, India BIS and others.
Jiu Steel continuously improves quality management system, quality and safety responsibility system, quality index control system, quality index benchmarking system, quality evaluation and assessment system. Among others, the coverage rate of quality management system reaches 100%. JISCO continues to implement JLG (refinement, Liang Hua, implementation of rigidity) management, improve the level of quality management at the plant level, achieving remarkable results in quality and efficiency. In 2020, JISCO was awarded 2 “National Excellent” QC Team, 1 National Quality Trustworthy Team, 15 Provincial (Industry) Excellent QC Team, 6 Provincial (Industry) Quality Trustworthy Teams, and 6 Golden Cup Award Products.
