Stainless Steel Bending, Forming & Beveling Services
JISCO JUDE provides stainless steel plate and sheet forming services including press-brake bending, roll bending, beveling, shearing, leveling, edge preparation and deburring for industrial fabrication projects.
Processing requirements can be reviewed according to the stainless steel grade, material thickness, plate dimensions, bend geometry, radius, bevel requirement, quantity and downstream welding or machining process.
For custom fabricated components, buyers should provide drawings or detailed dimensional requirements before production. Final forming and beveling capability depends on material grade, thickness, component geometry, required tolerance and equipment setup.
| Press brake | |
| Bending capacity | 3,000 T |
| Max. bending length | 15,000mm |
| Rolls bending | |
| Max. Thickness | 200mm |

Plate Beveling & Edge Preparation
Plate beveling and edge preparation can be reviewed for welded stainless steel components according to plate grade, thickness, required joint design and downstream welding process.
Please provide the required bevel type, bevel angle, root face or land, plate thickness, edge length and drawing where applicable. Final beveling capability should be confirmed before production.

Press-Brake Bending vs Roll Bending
| Process | Best Suited For | Main Geometry | Key Information to Provide |
|---|---|---|---|
| Press-Brake Bending | Sheet and plate components requiring defined bend lines and angles | V-bends, channels, brackets, boxes and structural profiles | Grade, thickness, bend angle, inside radius, bend length and drawing |
| Roll Bending | Plate forming into curved or cylindrical shapes | Cylinders, shells, curved panels and large-radius components | Grade, thickness, width, required diameter or radius and drawing |
The appropriate forming process depends on plate thickness, stainless steel grade, geometry, required radius and dimensional tolerance. Final feasibility should be confirmed against the drawing.
Common Plate Beveling Requirements
Plate beveling is commonly used to prepare edges for welding. The required edge geometry depends on plate thickness, welding process, joint design and applicable fabrication specification.
| Bevel Requirement | Typical Use | Buyer Information Required |
|---|---|---|
| Single-V Bevel | Common welded plate joints | Bevel angle, root face, plate thickness and edge length |
| Double-V / X Bevel | Thicker plate or two-sided welding applications | Angles on both sides, root face and plate thickness |
| K-Bevel | Selected structural and heavy-fabrication joints | Joint drawing, bevel angles and root geometry |
| Custom Edge Preparation | Project-specific welding or fabrication requirements | Detailed drawing and welding specification |
Bevel types shown above are general fabrication references. Actual beveling capability and joint geometry should be confirmed according to the drawing and available processing equipment.

Stainless Steel Bending & Beveling FAQ
What is the difference between press-brake bending and roll bending?
Press-brake bending creates defined bend lines and angles, while roll bending is used to form plate into curved or cylindrical shapes. The appropriate process depends on the required geometry and plate dimensions.
Can thick stainless steel plate be bent?
Thick stainless steel plate can be reviewed for bending, but actual capability depends on grade, plate thickness, bend length, required radius, tooling and equipment setup.
What information is needed for a plate-bending quotation?
Please provide the stainless steel grade, thickness, width, length, required bend angle, inside radius, bend length, quantity and drawing.
What is plate beveling used for?
Plate beveling prepares edges for welding or further fabrication. Typical joint preparations may include V, X, K or other project-specific geometries depending on plate thickness and welding design.
Can you provide a specific bevel angle?
Bevel angle capability depends on plate thickness, edge length, joint geometry and available processing equipment. The required bevel angle and root face should be shown on the drawing for feasibility review.
Can stainless steel plate be leveled or flattened before fabrication?
Leveling or flattening can be reviewed depending on plate size, thickness and required flatness. Final requirements should be stated with the inquiry.
What drawing formats can I send?
PDF, DWG, DXF, STEP and other available technical drawing formats can be reviewed. The latest drawing revision should be supplied for quotation and production review.
