Over the years, JISCO has always given top priority to technological innovation. In 2021, JISCO will carry out 333 scientific and technological projects throughout the year, develop 630,000 tons of new products for trial production and mass production, and complete 23 technical and economic indicators, and the conversion rate of scientific and technological achievements is 68.6%. It has won 4 provincial scientific and technological progress awards and provincial patent awards in three items. Establish and operate the “Gansu Provincial Iron and Steel New Material R&D and Industrialization Application Innovation Consortium” and launch and implement seven scientific research projects around the national strategic needs. The project “Application Research of Carbon Dioxide in Converter” won the China Metallurgical Science and Technology Award special prize.
