The stainless steel branch of Hongxing stock successfully realized the multi-furnace continuous pouring of 20Mn23AIV high manganese non-magnetic steel, breaking the history of single-furnace pouring of this steel grade.

High manganese non-magnetic steel is a high-end product made by JISCO, mainly used in the key parts of transformer anti-magnetic. The manganese content of this steel grade is up to 25%, which is 20 times the conventional steel grade, and the aluminum content is up to 2.0%, which is 260 times the conventional steel grade. In the process of continuous casting and pouring, it is easy to lead to the denaturation of the protective slag and thus deteriorate the performance, while this steel grade is very prone to steel leakage due to high temperature and low strength.

In 2018, JISCO stainless steel successfully used a continuous casting process to produce 20Mn23AIV high fierce non-magnetic steel, but due to the unstable pouring process, it has been taking single furnace pouring. Since this year, the management and technical personnel of the stainless steel branch have been optimizing the parameters and refining the process through a lot of data analysis and on-site tracking, improving the stability of the pouring process, and finally successfully realizing the multi-furnace continuous pouring of 20Mn23AIV high manganese non-magnetic steel, so that the production of high manganese and high aluminum steel of JISCO has stepped up to a new level.
